tvScientific is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to build simulation and AI capabilities for CTV advertising. The role involves designing systems that model auction dynamics and developing AI-driven tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and build simulation environments for CTV auction mechanics
• Develop counterfactual frameworks for evaluating bidding strategies
• Build AI agents for strategy exploration and experimentation
• Use LLMs and generative AI to accelerate ML workflows
• De-risk ML model deployments through simulation
• Define technical direction for simulation and AI infrastructure

Requirements

• Strong production Python skills
• Experience building simulation or modeling systems
• Understanding of probabilistic modeling and stochastic processes
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools
• Adtech experience and understanding of auction theory
• Ability to translate business questions into simulation frameworks
• Clear written communication skills
• Ownership of end-to-end system design and deployment

• Causal inference experience
• Experience with discrete event simulation or Monte Carlo methods
• Reinforcement learning experience
• Experience with agentic AI systems or multi-agent simulations
• Big data experience with Scala and Spark
• Systems programming experience in Zig or similar languages
• MLOps experience on AWS
