Description

Anduril seeks a Product Design Intern to develop software product design skills in mission-critical domains. This 12-week internship in Costa Mesa involves real-world impact and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Academic Requirement

Holds or in the process of obtaining a Bachelors degree in design (HCD, interaction, visual) or design related field. Must be a rising senior at the time of internship and returning to school at the end of internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter/semester.

Responsibilities

• Build foundational product design skills through real-world impact
• Own a feature or workflow end-to-end running discovery, design exploration, prototyping, and implementation with engineers
• Leverage existing design system components and interaction patterns
• Define solutions based on an understanding of the end-user needs, product, and business goals
• Participate in user research sessions and practice synthesis of learnings
• Share work early and often, soliciting input from cross-functional partners and stakeholders
• Collaborate with product designers, research, product management, and engineers

• Proficiency with Figma design and prototyping tools
