Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for Instacart's most critical customer experiences
• Elevate visual and interaction quality across key flows
• Partner with PM, Eng, DS, Research, and Content to define problems and explore solutions
• Create high-fidelity designs, interactive prototypes, and production-ready specs in Figma
• Collaborate with external retail partners and internal enterprise teams
• Advocate for customer needs while balancing business objectives

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital product design
• Comfortable collaborating closely with product and engineering partners
• Experience in iterative environments using experimentation and A/B testing
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proficient in maintaining comprehensive design documentation
• Strong portfolio showcasing problem solving skills and high level of craft

• Background in e-commerce, marketplaces, or complex systems
• Experience working with motion design and animation
